The break of dawn defeats all demons,
It sends them off to restless sleep.
The light devours nightly fears
And turns them into dust so meek.
The break of dawn - an endless battle
Between what was and what will be.
It hides the sins of hollow shadows
And brings to life reality.
The break of dawn comes slow but painful,
The darkness screaming being killed.
And yet it’s humble, desperately damned to
Loneliness as it finally lays still.
The break of dawn possesses magic
That resurrects existence with a kiss.
But is it truly life’s beginning
Or an ending to the devil’s bliss?
