Back to Basics
Ice cubes melting in my glass of ice tea,
Freshly-cut-grass perfume weaving through my head,
A sharpened pencil waiting by a notebook,
A baby ant searching for its way,
A blue sky letting sunshine reach me freely,
Red flowers offering my sight delight,
Woodpeckers keeping happy rhythm
Of the overwhelming feeling – I’m alive!
